Shouldn't this article just be about the company CETME? It looks like this may have have started out as an article on the 7.62x51mm rifles, and then everything else was tacked on about the company's other products. Let's break out the specifics on the Modelo A, B, C, D, and E into a separate article. D.E. Watters 23:26, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

I plan on starting a page dedicated to the 7.62mm series of battle rifles starting with the Model A. I have no idea what to name it.... "CETME rifle" seemed suitable until I realized the Model L is also a rifle, but has little in common with its bigger brother. I need some input. Koalorka (talk) 21:36, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

That's an obscure Spanish service name. I think the commercial model names would be more suitable, say, "CETME Model A". But I think that may be too specific. Hmmm.. Koalorka (talk) 05:09, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

You can give it the most common name without ignoring the development history of the preceding models. For instance, the "Sterling SMG" article isn't named the "Patchett SMG" despite the latter being the original name for the design. Simply add redirects from the other model names. --D.E. Yes, I understand, we will have to compromise somewhere for practical reasons. I would still prefer an all-encompassing name, perhaps "CETME battle rifle"? It distinguishes the 7.62mm guns from the later Model L. Koalorka (talk) 17:28, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

I think the CETME rifle needs its own page, seperate from the CETME organization. Agreed. But I tried to edit the page before, adding content specific to the model C, and every edit I made has since been removed in favor of making the page about the company, rather than the rifle the page was originally about. Dave polaschek (talk) 21:24, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Spanish Language

In the images that accompany the article there is a great deal of Spanish language, particularly when identifying parts.
