It does seem odd that the National Photo Company identified him as a lieutenant in December 1924, where the other sources in the article say he resigned as a major in 1924 or 1925. Kellyhi! 15:53, 20 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
It is possible that he was a major in WWI and was reduced to lieutenant after the war, this was common during that time frame. Kellyhi! 15:54, 20 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
