Text dumps in this article
editI have repeatedly removed unsourced and more recently really vaguely sourced text dumps from this article as they read like they were directly copied from a magazine review and are not encyclopedic content. If the refs exists and can be properly cited WP:Citing sources, then some of this information can probably be included, if it is properly re-written. - Ahunt (talk) 15:30, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

editHow do i list the existing boats and some of the listed information is incorrect? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Veladare (talk • contribs) 15:36, 6 November 2018 (UTC)
- First off we need proper references cited for anything added or changed. Most of of your edits were totally unreferenced and then even when you added references, they were vague and untracable. For instance your Sail magazine ref needs more than just a date, it needs a page number, an author name and article name. Your additions also read like they were directly copied from a boat review, as they are written in present tense and not in the sort of language we use in an encyclopedia. We have rules against copying text from copyrighted sources. Normally we don't provide a list of boats built by name, just a total number produced, unless a particular boat was notable for something, like a long voyage or winning a race. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a blog. - Ahunt (talk) 20:26, 6 November 2018 (UTC)
