Productions edit

I've just deleted a bunch of stuff from the Productions section - most of them seemed of no encyclopeadic interest. Personally I was in the Ickenham Premiere... but I don't think that's of note. Once we have the US premiere - we don't need the midwest US premiere. Nor do we need every tiny 3 day run done by an amateur theatre company. I know a lot of people like to see their name on a Wikipedia page, but having a review in trade press isn't enough - we should be looking for a review in significant national press or a recognised national award before considering inclusion. Just to add, the rules for this are at Wikipedia:WikiProject Theatre/Article Structure#Productions. The rules aren't too specific, only stating that "notable" revivals should be included, although with amateur productions they are clearer (those productions are deleted on sight). I broadly agree with deleting these productions, as I don't see anything distinctive about them, but I would also add any revivals on the West End or Broadway, and (at least for major writer/directors like Ayckbourn) any revivals by the original writer or director. Pronunciation of “Wooster” edit

I’d like to include a comment about the unusual choice to pronounce “Wooster” to rhyme with “rooster,” but I can’t find anything explaining online. Does anyone know why it was made? Loomborn (talk) 05:43, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Explaining IT online, that is. Loomborn (talk) 05:43, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
