Battle of BC beginning the creek war is false

edit

It's pretty clear in the description of the Creek War that this battle did not begin the creek war. That statement should be removed. Toddst1 (talk) 05:01, 29 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Done. (N.B. You could have done it yourself, two months sooner.) — ℜob C. alias ÀLAROB 01:21, 28 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

rootsweb is not reliable

edit

Rootsweb is an amateur submission site with no verifiability requirement. It is highly unreliable and should not be used as a WP:RS. Toddst1 (talk) 05:03, 29 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

True enough. I have added citation info for the original publication and a (corrected) link to the RootsWeb reprint of chapter 8, for those who want it. Riley's History of Conecuh County is a reliable secondary source, or as reliable as one is likely to find for this subject. — ℜob C. alias ÀLAROB 01:17, 28 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
