Films of phyllicate (clay) minerals edit

Phyllicate? Would it be better just to say clay minerals? We already have phyllosilicates and clay minerals to muddy the waters enough...? Psuedomorph (talk) 14:03, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Burgess Shale type preservation edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Burgess Shale type preservation's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Butterfield2001":

  • From Cambrian explosion: Butterfield, N.J. (2001). "Ecology and evolution of Cambrian plankton". The Ecology of the Cambrian Radiation. Columbia University Press, New York: 200–216. ISBN 978-0-231-10613-9. Retrieved 2007-08-19.
  • From Cambrian substrate revolution: Butterfield, N.J. (2001). "Ecology and evolution of Cambrian plankton": 200–216. Retrieved 2007-08-19. {{cite journal}}: Cite journal requires |journal= (help)

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 09:12, 17 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Dead link edit

Could someone mark the link in reference one as dead? I cannot find the reference in the page code.

Link repaired, remember you should always be able to navigate via the doi. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 04:01, 9 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
