km is the unit of measure in Australia. Please do not update with miles conversion. - Reverted. Many of our readers come from the United States where distances are still measured in miles, even in 2009. Having distances shown in both is not unreasonable. -- Mattinbgn\talk 04:55, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
Whilst I understand both of your points of view, miles are no longer relevant in Australia and perhaps the world should not pander to the minority living in the USA.
