Reportedly, the Blangs speak a language also known as Blang, but i don't know enough about this to feel confortable contributing that to the article. At least yet. Gringo300 02:00, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

yes, they have their own language (bulang). prat 07:28, 16 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

actually i think this page should be moved to bulang, unless there's some well-trusted source to the contrary. they are called bulang (with a 'u') by everyone in china. i will go ahead and do it. prat 07:28, 16 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Blang peopleBulang people – Always officially spelled as "Bulang" in China, almost never as "Blang". The proper pinyin spelling is Bulang 布朗, which covers many different subgroups ranging from "Plang" (not "Blang", since it's unvoiced) to "U", and more. Weak oppose. English-language sources seem to prefer "Blang" at first glance. O.N.R. (talk) 23:35, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Support. I've encountered both terms in RSs, but Google Ngrams[1] suggests that "Bulang" is much more common in modern sources. Google Scholar searches also find more hits for "Bulang": 79 hits for "Blang people" and 144 hits for "Bulang people". —Mx. Granger (talk · contribs) 13:38, 5 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
