This article should have the "building" dropped from the name so that a separate, redundant article is not needed to discuss everything other than the building--the collections, activities, and history of the Society. Guybrarian (talk) 14:43, 24 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pedimental sculpture

edit

The south portico was left blank in 1901 when the building was constructed. Pedimental sculpture by Edmond Amateis was added, 1929-30.
The references to Charles Henry Niehaus having modeled the pedimental sculptures in 1902 are incorrect. Niehaus's bronze statue of Abraham Lincoln (1902) sits below the portico. BoringHistoryGuy (talk) 16:46, 17 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Another name change?

edit

As per yesterday's article in the Buffalo News, how do we get a name change for this article?

Is the full address (and the former one) required? Jackiespeel (talk) 14:58, 29 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
