- You are partially correct as for them individually being 'bigger' than the band, similar to how Sting is 'bigger' than The Police. Fergie's 2016 tour has the members as her live band, and their collective effort (as a group) is known in the industry as Bucky Jonson. Take a look at a live show on the Today show, notice the four band members that comprise Bucky Jonson.
