Manager update
editSome are arguing that he is merely "expected" to be manager, not officially named. I argue that the definite confirmation from multiple sources indicate that he is officially manager. The public announcement occurs on Oct. 22, but the naming/hiring of him as manager clearly can be established via the sources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JelloSheriffBob (talk • contribs) 03:14, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
- And all the sources say, "to be named" or "will be named". It's fine to say, "sources expect him to be named manager", but it's not official until the Reds announce it. To me, it will be official when announced on reds.com. — X96lee15 (talk) 03:16, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
- " Enquirer columnist Paul Daugherty has confirmed that the Reds will announce Bryan Price as the new manager on Tuesday." Look at the wording as it is currently. I think this is a good compromise. - JelloSheriffBob —Preceding undated comment added 03:20, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
- That's perfectly fine wording, but the rest of the article should still refer to him as the pitching coach and not the manager. — X96lee15 (talk) 03:22, 22 October 2013 (UTC)

United states national baseball team coach
edit"In August 2019, he became a United States national baseball team coach for the 2019 WBSC Premier12 tournament. The team finished fourth in the tournament, and failed to qualify for the 2020 Olympics as it finished behind Mexico, but will have another opportunity to qualify."
