editI am a decendent of William Ainlay who founded Ainlayville. It should be spelled 'Ainayville' instead of 'Ainleyville'. I have a copy of an old map that clearly states this as well as family history.

- Bonnie, could you update the page with the proper spelling as well as a reference? --Jdeboer 02:51, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
- Bonnie, It seems there was a clerical error when the town was named.[1] Ainleyville was named after William Ainlay. --Fbax (talk) 23:36, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
