While I agree that the original contributor does appear to be a single purpose account, I can see the article has received contributions by others who have a general interest in Queensland topics, e.g. User:Andrea edits. While I agree a number of the citations are to the organisation's own web site, there are other independent citations in the article. This is a band with a century of history (it's not 3 teenagers who formed a band in their garage last weekend). A quick search of the name in NLA Trove finds books, photos and over 2000 newspaper articles. Like many articles, it could use more work but the topic itself is notable.
