Book cover removed edit

So showing the cover of a book someone has written is not fair use ? Hektor 05:23, 22 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

You may have already gotten an answer to this, but just in case you haven't: As I understand it, you can only use the cover of a book in an article about that book. I ran into the issue first when I was mystified about the deletion of the cover of the Born to Run album from the Springsteen page, next to paragraph about the Born to Run tour. I found out that the only fair use for the cover of the album was in an article about the album. I'll bet the same holds true for books. Cheers. David in DC (talk) 14:25, 18 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oh at last an answer, thanks so much. Now that's clear. Meanwhile, I was lucky enough to meet her, but unfortunately I didn't have a camera with me. Hektor (talk) 15:51, 18 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Name edit

Lahaie's name 'Vanmeerhaeghe' and specifically the 'haeghe' part (or haag in standard Dutch) does not mean 'fence'. It means a hedge; which may well be used as a boundary or obstacle, but is not a fence, which is a specific structure used as a boundary/barrier. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 145.130.113.142 (talk) 17:46, 19 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
