brigadier general (Poland) edit

This article on the subject of "generał brygady", currently titled "brigade general (Poland)", should be moved to "brigadier general (Poland)", which is the proper English translation of "generał brygady". Nihil novi (talk) 00:31, 30 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Brigade General (Poland)Brigadier general (Poland) – This is the proper English rendering of the Polish "generał brygady". Please see "Brigadier general". Nihil novi (talk) 00:49, 30 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

  • Support in principle. Absolutely agree. Which is why Brigade general redirects to Brigadier general. This is just slavish literal translation rather than the natural translation that we should be using. However, the best solution would be to move it back to Generał brygady, its original title. It's best to leave articles on ranks in their original language. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:22, 30 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
  • support Though the translation would be 'Brigade's General' or 'General of a Brigade'—blindlynx 16:56, 30 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
