Various pronunciations?!

edit

I can't understand why you would indicate various pronunciations for Brienz. This is german, to be more precise swiss german, so the correct pronunciation is the third one. The german pronunciation (2nd place) is rather irrelevant, and the american one (1st place) completely - not to mention the non-IPA script also used by you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.129.32.89 (talk) 23:31, 8 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Landslides

edit

Reports of landslides in 2023 such as https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-65926381 happened in another Brienz in Graubünden do not confuse them with this Brienz. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.47.6.138 (talk)

Not happy about the 'various pronunciations'

edit

Why do you mention in detail the various existing pronunciations, also the ones which are beyond doubt incorrect thus should be avoided? The correct pronunciation for Brienz is the one officially used in Switzerland, which is [briənts] On top, by giving also the variations in IPA, you seem to assign a status to them which they havn't deserved Contorista (talk) 08:32, 17 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
