Best known for ...
editTo say he's best known as assistant manager is odd, when he was a distinguished player. I knew of him as a player, not as a manager. I'm going to cut the sentence; if there's any dispute let's talk about it here. Mike Christie (talk) 21:03, 20 September 2008 (UTC)

I think This Article needs a photo of Brian Kidd to make it a better article for the Public maybe the one stated on his official Manchester Citys profile here http://www.mcfc.co.uk/players/management/brian-kidd (Z2A (talk) 20:05, 29 October 2012 (UTC))
- I'm not commenting about the need for a photo, but you can't use that one. It's copyright. MC could release the copyright for us to use, assuming it's an official pic and not one they're using by arrangement with its owner (otherwise, it has to be whoever it is that does own it). You see, Wikipedia is licensed under a thing called CC-BY-SA 3.0 for free reuse by anyone, anywhere, and that pic isn't. Problem. Answer: find one that's free. That means taking it yourself (without getting thrown out of the ground...). I can't see him objecting to you asking to take a pic to go on Wikipedia - but remember - once it's up on here, anyone anywhere (even on Mars) can use it. I'll leave the helpme up in case someone has one they're prepared to upload. Peridon (talk) 20:36, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
