Brendan Hines' MySpace page
editThere were attempts by User:Spoonish to add Brendan Hines' MySpace page as a reference and as an external link, and they were removed by User:XLinkBot (presumably because Spoonish is a new user). I have studied his changes, and the MySpace page in question, and I do believe it to be a valid link, as it genuinely appears to be owned and managed by Mr. Hines. I have added the page to the External Links section. --P shadoh (talk) 19:28, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Addendum by P Shadoh
I have found supporting information, in Wikipedia:External_links#Links_normally_to_be_avoided:
“ | Except for a link to a page that is the subject of the article or an official page of the article subject... | ” |
It then goes on to list MySpace (bullet #11 as of today). Since the page in question is about Mr. Hines (the subject of the article), and an official page of the article subject, it is absolutely appropriate to include. --P shadoh (talk) 19:39, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Why isn't his role in Locke and Key included here?
