How common is it for stress to cause Intermenstrual as well as Breakthrough bleeding? It would seem from any sort of research that stress is a very common cause of these problems. Shouldn't stress be added to this article as a common cause? 2601:98A:480:C080:F145:82C8:F1E0:8E52 (talk) 05:20, 18 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Pregnancy edit

The article stated that "Breakthrough bleeding may also itself be a symptom of pregnancy (contraceptive failure)." Does this mean that it usually happens in pregnancies that result specifically because of contraceptive failure, i.e. when women on the pill (or other contraceptives?) fall pregnant? Or does breakthrough bleeding also occur with intended pregnancies? As far as I know, bleeding due to pregnancy might occur during implantation, and therefore doesn't have anything to do with contraception. Based on this - and the fact that no sources are given for this statement - I removed it; but if anyone has more specific information available, feel free to change it back. --Leviel (talk) 13:54, 10 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Is a practice question an appropriate source for this article? - I am referring specifically to the Lange Q&A text source #3. 173.173.20.99 (talk) 20:58, 11 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
