Sociology and Nelson
editI've removed the Sociology section as it was speculation and opinion based. The 'Lord Nelson' section is based solely on 'it is said' evidence and should really go too.
Royal West Norfolk Golf Club
editTo answer the citation here about the North Sea washing the Links course away. Refer to the Shoreline Management Plan (Second Generation)- Hunstanton to Kelling from the Environment Agency. In this document the contributors state that Royal West Norfolk Golf Club needs to make an investment in the coastal defences to maintain and protect the current habitat. Over time the cost of this will exceed the benefit and at some point it will be decided to move the Golf course away from it's links situation. GeorgeEzekial (talk) 11:00, 29 June 2015 (UTC)

Etymology
editPlease, a little of thinking effort. Branodunom, Celtic for "Crow's (or whatever) Stronghold", Latinized into "Branocastrum", and hence to Anglosaxon "Branceaster". "Roman site of Branodunum" is both redundant and etymologically inaccurate. Manfariel (talk) 02:20, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
