Excessive detail about children

The table that lists names and details about his children should be removed. The usual practice on Wikipedia for children of celebrities is to avoid such detail unless the child has a Wikipedia article. In fact, this very similar version of the article was criticized in a GA nomination for that very reason. See Talk:Brad Pitt/GA1. The details were removed, but the same editor who removed it added some of it again in 2009. Not done for now: Please upload a NON-COPYRIGHT picture to Wikimedia Commons (use "Upload file" in the left hand column).
Almost all images that you find on the internet, in magazines etc. are copyright, and, unless you took the picture yourself, you will need to show proof that it is not copyright.

Hi Muchomachu - it appears to be correctly licenced as taken from Flickr, includes the metadata, credits the photographer and was uploaded by an experienced editor- I'd say it's OK - Arjayay (talk) 10:45, 1 May 2018 (UTC)

Muchomachu, I reverted because the image is not an ideal lead image. Pitt is looking down and has shades on. Newer is not always better. Also see this discussion from the WP:Manual of Style talk page. You might be interested in weighing in on it. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 13:03, 3 May 2018 (UTC)

Recent changes

Anon9088, I keep reverting you because you keep making changes that are not improvements. For example, there is no need to repeat Pitt's birth year in the Early life section. It's already in the lead and infobox. You also keep WP:Overlinking. Read WP:Overlinking for what I mean. Place Brad Pitt lived

I do believe Brad Pitt lived in Warrington Fla. His mother was a guidance counselor at Pensacola High School. They lived in Navy Point and most times rode the school bus to PHS. Use of "good looks" in Wikipedia's voice

Regarding this, I reverted Textorus because, like I stated in my edit summary, "That is POV in Wikipedia's voice. See WP:YESPOV. We don't state things like '[So and so]'s good looks.' We note that sources have cited [so and so] as good-looking." Also, "good looks" comes across as unencyclopedic to me." Something like "physically attractive" or "physical attractiveness" is better. Changed to this for now. Of course, "physically attractive" is not the same thing as "sexiest," but sources calling Pitt sexy, and those commenting on his looks, usually focus on Pitt being physically attractive. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 01:58, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
