Poorly written

The subject is very interesting, esp. in how books are often stolen not for their resale value (though many are) but for the content as relevant to the reader. funny how many books on religion are stolen, when one would think a religiously curious person would at least refrain from violating the tenets of their religion. cant say thats true for books on satanism or black magic, though, as those religions just might advocate theft...Mercurywoodrose (talk) 03:43, 13 July 2013 (UTC)

• Even assuming the subject's notable, this article's an atrocious mess of trivia and OR. Book stores also are victimized by thefts of merchandise and other items aside from books. At Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena, California, someone attempted to steal a security camera. At the Boulder Bookshop in Boulder, Colorado, prints hung in the bathroom, and plants, have been stolen. That's the lead! What kind of stupidity is this??? EEng 02:48, 14 July 2019 (UTC)
