Septuagint is pre-Christian edit

The Book of Odes is found in Orthodox Bibles, but is not in the Septuagint, since that is pre-Christian, and the Odes contain Christian hymns from the New Testament. And refering to "the Septuagint manuscript" is misleading. I need to do a little checking up before I want to change anything. Odes (΄Ωδαὶ) is found in Alfred Rahlfs Septuagint, section 2, page 164, after Psalms.64.149.82.79 21:13, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Odes are not part of the EO canon of the Bible edit

I am Eastern Orthodox and although the Odes can be used in services, they are not part of the "canon" of Scripture in the EO Church. Rakovsky (talk) 23:19, 4 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
