Talk:Bolitoglossa cataguana

The use of "Cataguana Salamander": The vernacular name is implied on page 102 of the article "A new species of salamander in the Bolitoglossa dunni group", describing the salamander's entomology:

"The specific name cataguana (pronounced cat-a-wan-a) is a noun in apposition to the generic name, given to honor the community and working forest where the type series was collected"

Because it's merely an implication, I am hesitant to use "Cataguana Salamander" for the page's title. Feel free to edit the page! Shoelker (talk) 04:17, 16 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
