I am looking for anyone in Bodrog or area that knows anything about any Toth's or Fazekas. Joseph Toth was born December 18, 1872 or Bessie Toth born 1878. Charles Fazekas was born May 18, 1888. The Toth's are my grandparents and Fazekas lived with us in Oil City, PA. I don't know if they were related. I would very much appreciate any help I can get. Tóth and Fazekas are both very common names in Hungary, it will be tough to find them if you don't know exactly which town are they from. (This article is about the river Bodrog in Northern Hungary; did you mean this area or the town called Bodrog in Somogy county, Western Hungary?) My understanding is the families were from a rural area Bodrog Halasz near Sarospatak near Takay wine area. I can remember stomping grapes in my bare feet when I was about 8 years old.My grandfather was Joseph John Toth with a date of birth of December 18, 1872. He arrived in Connecticut. Bessie Toth(maiden name) married Joseph John Toth in Connecticut(USA). They both came over on the same ship. USA. His father's name was also Joseph, who was married to Julia Fazekas. They never came to the U.S.

I believe Charles Fazekas came to the US on 28 February 1914 or February 18, 1912. I also have information that his niece Pauline Kovas was from Zubogg, Hungary. Please help.
