- I don't know about this. Not only do the two articles look almost exactly alike, it doesn't appear that there is a really huge difference between the Macross character and his Robotech counterpart. There's no reason why we couldn't have one section detailing his role in the former series and another section which discusses the latter (like the main Zentradi article). I still think they should remain separate. The Super Dimensional Fortress Macross and Robotech considerable diverge both during and after the original 36 episodes (especially in character names which are frequently mentioned in both articles). They should remain separate to avoid confusion (Hyperionsteel (talk) 00:56, 23 July 2008 (UTC))
And yet another reason why many Robotech fans don't know anything about Macross and consider Robotech as the original... Don't get me wrong.
