- He's not. The current Speaker is Jack Snelling. Bob is just a standard Member now. Gay Thompson is currently the Deputy. Yay unto the Chicken 05:13, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Timeshift, I agree this should be included, but where? Definitely doesn't belong under illness and death, but under political career. I personally don't think it is worth its own section, so either under "Speaker" (which could change title?) as it is another 'senior' role, or else it could go at end of 2010 election as that is where it fits chronologically?
