Bob is patron of many local organisations and also Director of Surrey Hills and Canterbury Community Banks ?

In response to the unsigned comment above... every politician is active in various ways in his or her own electorate. Generally speaking, taking on positions such as those you mention would simply be a normal and expected part of doing the job of a local member and therefore wouldn't be significant enough to rate a mention in an encyclopedia entry. For me, at least, the threshold for inclusion in an entry such as this would be if those memberships would normally be significant enough to include on their own merit, even if the person concerned wasn't the local member and furthermore, would need to be affiliations likely to continue even after they left parliament.
