Notability

edit

It is not clear that this person is sufficiently notable so as to satisfy WP:MUSIC. There are 13 G-News hits, all announcements for play dates and no "non-trivial published works" are apparent. There are about 2,000 G-hits, predominantly promotional sites and no apparent reliable sources. The claim in the article that he composed for a BBC documentary could be notable but is unreferenced. As it stands this article could be an attempt to promote the person. If reliable sources to demonstrate notability are not added soon this article will be nominated for a deletion discussion. Record label

edit

One of his record labels with 3 releases of his claims that they offer music from over 120 artists - would that match criterion #5 of WP:MUSIC#Criteria_for_musicians_and_ensembles ? BNutzer (talk) 16:29, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reference format

edit

Hi Mcbaily, please add internet references including the full URL so that others can verify them. "All Music Guide. August 10,2008" (which you recently added) is not enough. For a print version of the All Music Guide and other printed works, please add the page number (see Wikipedia:Citing_sources#Including_page_numbers for further information).
