Death edit

Does anyone have any referenced details as to Bob Hilliard's demise in 1971 ? He was only 53.

I know that on the night of his death Bob Hilliard met Emilio Castillo, the founder and leader of the Tower of Power, at a club in Huntington Beach called the Golden Bear. I believe Bob died in a vehicle accident late that night. It seems like the LA Times should have an archive of his obit. Rainbow-five (talk) 08:31, 23 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

I still can not locate anything online on this matter - can anyone help ? - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 20:23, 15 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
I found this. I would really prefer something better, like a Los Angeles paper obit, but the LA Times hides everything behind a pay-wall.

Many thanks - although, for me, this appears to be behind a pay-wall too ! - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 23:34, 12 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
