Bob Greaves was definitely not the News Editor on the day President Kennedy was shot and had absolutely no imput in the news programme that released this. He was not employed by Granada until 1964 - Kennedy was shot on 22 November 1963. I was one of only two people in the news toom that evening, the other was Terry Dobson the news editor who was brave enough to pass on information he received from The Press Association which came through via short wave radio. He relayed this to Barry Heads in the control room who passed it on to Mike Scott who gave the news out on air.
