Does not "Among numerous publications are substantial entries on ancient music for the latest editions of The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, Die Musik in Geschichte und Gegenwart, The Oxford Encyclopedia of Ancient Egypt, and Encyclopædia Iranica" constitute an assertion of notability? New Grove is the standard english-language reference work in this area. Frankly I'd be more worried about this being a copy-vio from some website. David Underdown 16:48, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • - prod. Info in article is sufficient for notability --contribt to major ref works. can't alledge copyvio from a wbsitee till you findthe site.
I was only really concerned because the same user created two similar length articles in a relatively short space of time, and the style of both looked feasible to have come from a "fan" website (for want of a better description), and I was about to go off line so didn't have chance to do much investigation myself at the time. Googling a few bits and pices from each article doesn't seem to bring up anything like a copy-vio so I'll happily withdraw that query. David Underdown 10:14, 12 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
