So should this be credited to Davis and Evans? Yes, Evans and others claim he wrote it and there are sources to confirm the claim, but the LP itself credits only Davis. LP sleeves are notoriously unreliable sources of information about the music they refers. An argument in favor as Evans as sole composer, and perhaps some contribution from Davis is the fact tune does not appear in Davis's discography and sessionography outside of the session that produced Kind of Blue, and unlike other "Davis" tunes.
