Single or normal song?
edit"Blow" impacted on Italian radio so why wasn't it a single, but a normal song? — Simon (talk) 08:50, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
- If it indeed was released to Italian CHR then it is a single. I am sceptical about the reliability of that source though. Adabow (talk) 00:02, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
- Source seems reliable enough to me; I've seen it used on quite a number of articles and apparently it's a registered company with affiliations with several established Italian record labels (can't speak Italian at all but translations of the "Clienti" and "Chi Siamo" pages seem to imply that). Will wait for further consensus before passing judgement, however. Holiday56 (talk) 06:50, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
- Blow is now in heavy rotation on Dutch radio and is listed under "new this week" on this Dutch station http://www.3fm.nl/playlists/nieuw It appears to be a single --Lolcakes25 (talk) 16:51, 25 March 2014 (UTC)

Didn't see this earlier, or else I would have commented. I agree that it is a single and should be changed as such. — Status (talk · contribs) 19:28, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
I completely disgree with "Blow" being listed as a single, and there is a Billboard article I was reading that talks of its scrapped release explicitly. The Italian source, to me, appears to be a logical response to what we were told on December 13, that "Blow" *would* be released and thus they listed it as a single—the page is just the Parkwood/Columbia press release and a date at the top, with the entire page making no reference to any of Beyoncé's singles. There has been no announcement or strong evidence (I don't think the Dutch station playing it makes it a single) or a VEVO release that has accompanied its three single so far, and I think the fact "Partition" was released not to long ago means it unlikely "Blow" would be released so soon. The page should be listed as a normal song. Best, —JennKR | ☎ 11:39, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- I completely agree with the points brought about by Jenny. Just because a radio station is playing song, does not mean the latter becomes a single automatically. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 11:59, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- Risking re-igniting a debate, there's only 1 mention of "Blow" actually being released a single whereas we have multiple accounts of XO and DIL being released. ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 21:10, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
