Competition

The article metions airlines competing and offering new flights on the same routes as each other. (NWA and Airtram). Is there a source for this?

It is not unprecedented, I work at the AA station in Flint and when we added a flight to LGA NWA began running their own LGA flight. Although I cannot confirm the claims made about competition between AirTran and NWA specifically. -Rob —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.244.173.156 (talk) 02:26, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Bishop Airport Logo.jpg

Image:Bishop Airport Logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

POV

This article seems to be highly slanted towards the airport. Such as: The airport's future looks to be bright.

Flint city limits?

Is not FNT in the City limits of Flint? From the City Clerk's site, it is in Precinct 53 of 8th Ward. -- Jon Talk | Message.

Yes, it is. It's located 3 miles SW of the city, but within city limits. http://www.airnav.com/airport/KFNT User:FlyFNT/sig

@TomCat4680: You have twice reverted my edit regarding the end date of United Express' Flint-Newark service. It is plain to see from looking at any booking engine that this service is being discontinued as of May 1. Airlines usually do not issue press releases about flights being discontinued. I understand your argument about WP:V, however, at what point does removing something due to a lack of a source simply turn into willful ignorance or incorrectness? What if nobody ever writes an article about this flight being canceled and May 1 comes and goes and the flight ceases to be. Then can it be removed? I'm not arguing against the merits of WP:V, I'm just wondering about your feelings about a situation where something on an article is demonstrably incorrect yet there is no citation available to support it. -Drdisque (talk) 03:35, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

I'll just leave it there with a citation needed tag. If you can find one great that'd be great. It's technically against the rules to say "something is going to happen in the future" without a source but I want to avoid an edit war, so it can stay for now.
