People aren't notable because of a single incident in their life, such as becoming an unfortunate and unjust victim of a heinous crime. Can this content possibly be merged into an appropriate article about the group that committed the crime, or about political events in Nepal? - Jehochman Talk 09:22, 18 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

You may well be correct (although see Daniel Pearl for contrast). I will add a bit more (it seems to be covered somewhat in the international press), and hopefully the contributing author can clarify it.
