This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --Rana1616 (talk) 16:55, 24 February 2014 (UTC) This article is on modern history of Nepal and the person discussed in the article played such a role that contributed to Narabhupal Shah become the king of Gorkha. If he had not taken Narabhupal Shah in custody and not insisted, some other prince would have become the king of Gorkha and there would not have been any Prithvi Narayan Shah to unite and found modern day Nepal. No idea whether any such country would have existed in the history without Prithvi Narayan Shah (1723–1775).Reply

Kaji Biraj Thapa Magar was the Bhardar or noble in the Gorkha Kingdom who helped Narabhupal Shah become king of Gorkha after the death of his grand father Prithvi Pati Shah in 1716. There are lots of writings on him by different historians. According to the different genealogies he was the custodian of Narabhupal Shah and his mother Malikavati. Narabhupal Shah became king of Gorkha in 1716.

Do you still need more citations verification? You could find everywhere, in Nepalese history, written about him, mostly in Nepali language and in English also. I believe it is not an orphan article. Articles being not written and published in English language shouldn't be treated as orphan articles.
