Minerals / Vitamins

Would minerals (not bound to an organic substance) be considered biotic or abiotic? The same question is for vitamins, though their nature would seem to be biotic, might there be some that are abiotic? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tapalmer99 (talkcontribs) 14:39, 19 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Mutualisms, key species, ecosystem engineers, etc.

edit

I am perplexed by the biotic components grouped into producers, consumers and decomposers. Why does the article leave out important biotic factors such as mutualisms, keystone species, ecosystem engineers and perhaps a few others? Their importance doesn't exactly relate to whether they are producers, consumers or decomposers. These important factors should be included in this article. --Polinizador (talk) 22:04, 24 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Diagram

edit

The diagram in this article looks like it was drawn by a six year old in MS Paint. The supposed 'bee' and 'bacteria' in the photo would be completely indecipherable without a title. I could probably make something better with even the most minimum skills in drawing. I suggest changing it or removing it, it's unsightly. Christiaanp (talk) 09:07, 28 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
