I have tried to reformat this page to enable it to link into a number of very similar topics. Biogas powerplants are anaerobic digesters and are inextricably linked to waste management. Yes, biogas can be converted to the specifications of natural gas and used for cars. An experiment with this is in Güssing Burgenland Austria. But on the other side, ICE is a very ineffective way to move a car. Since natural gas car have only a short range, they are mostly used in city traffic, where the ICE has an even worse efficiency.
When the biogas is instead used in a Molten-carbonate fuel cell with Steam turbine behind, a Plug-in hybrid or Battery electric vehicle could drive 4 times more km with the same biogas than an ICE car. --Pege.founder 05:22, 30 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Mistake in Plant Size edit

A 5 MW Power plant is listed as requiring a swuare kilometer. I think the author has made a mistake, and supposed 1000m^2 is a square kilometer. In fact, 1000000 m^2 represents a square kilometer.

can the production of biogas be increased by adding more percentage of CO(2) to the actual percentage??????if yes please provide the supporting proof...
