Hi,
Although googles first hit [www.binatonetelecom.com] returns an empty page, the last entry on the second page [www.binatone.ru/index.php] returns a corporate website. Here it states that Binatone is a private company. I take that to mean it is not listed on a stock exchange. In that respect it is not notable.
Also, this article has a line that goes ... and a public listing in the sights of the company's founder and chairman, Gulu Lalvani.. In combination with the original tone of the article, this suggests to me that the article was put up as part of an advertising sequence, in anticipation of an IPO, to get visibility for the company. I suggest we put this article up if the company gets a stock exchange listing. thanks! Kghose 11:39, 30 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

A lot of the final paragraph of this article is junk. Several sentences make no sense whatsoever. I can't edit it myself as I'm not sure exactly what the original author intended to convey. 86.132.59.99 (talk) 10:44, 31 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Is the first vowel the same as in "binary"? The console is mentioned in the Goldie Lookin Chain song Half Man Half Machine but they pronounce the first syllable like "(rubbish) bin". Equinox◑ 09:29, 11 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Not sure I can be bothered to find a reliable source, but I've always thought the first syllable was the same as that of the word "binary"; but I would accept that the pronuniation used by people could be dependant on the (UK) regional accent. 87.112.47.121 (talk) 22:01, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
