Examples? edit
A list of examples would be very useful, I think. For my understanding after reading, Apache Archiva as well as a APT repository are both examples for a binary repository but at the same time quite different in their concept and purpose. A list of examples would not only give some useful links but also a better impression of the variety of characteristics of the different systems. Major Clean Up edit
This page needs a major clean up. I’ll start working on it and adding reputable sources. The largest section “What is a binary repository manager?” only has one source and is basically vendor spam, it either needs to be largely improved or would anyone be opposed to me deleting it? -Kharnagy (talk) 15:59, 9 February 2016 (UTC)
