The absence of any mention in the article of dietary management of symptoms does seem to be an omission. The article certainly refers to diet—specifically heavy meals and fatty food—in the context of the onset of painful episodes. Pololei (talk) 22:14, 23 September 2017 (UTC)

Should this be moved to "bilious colic"?

"Bilious colic" seems to be the more familiar form of the term, and is found throughout literature and old records. A Google search turned up 299,000 results for "bilious" and only 264,000 for "biliary", many of which no doubt are derived from this article. Not sure if "biliary" is a more modern term or simply an alternative, but it doesn't seem to be all that familiar a condition anymore. I expect most people have only heard of it through literary references to "bilious colic". No objection to giving "biliary" as a synonym in the lead sentence, but I think the term would be better placed under a more familiar title, unless there really is a meaningful distinction between the two terms. Both terms are used about equally than. The ICD9 mentions biliary colic [1] and this is the term we use in my country. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 09:35, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
