There is only one species in the family Bignonia. B. capreolata L. http://www.itis.gov/servlet/SingleRpt/SingleRpt?search_topic=TSN&search_value=34306

You could link the genus Bignonia to the site of said species https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bignonia_capreolata and mention that it is the only species in this genus. The site of the genus Bignonia could be deleted. --Ploetzlich (talk) 15:43, 16 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello Ploetzlich, I think there is more than one species in Bignonia. The above ITIS listing shows a single species but without explicitly indicating that the genus is monotypic. For example at GRIN (Germplasm Resources Information Network), there's a more comprehensive listing (after excluding synonyms). Some listings have a number of species in the 20+ range. So, while there are differences in species listings, there are many. Hope this helps Declangi (talk) 05:13, 3 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
