Technical specifications section edit
The Hollingsworth book source goes a bit into detail on the technical features of Beuth's design. Someone with a better technical understanding than me might be able to expand the section with that source. The English-language version of the book is titled "Illustrated Encyclopaedia of the World's Steam Passenger Locomotives" btw; I only got access to the German version.
