The site isn't really working right for me now, but follow this link and select the team as NY Yankees, and it should show you the New York Yankees standings. --Borgarde 04:53, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Bernie Photo

edit

Hi -- I think that the photo I've posted of Williams is a more useful image of the man in that it allows a user to clearly see his face and recent likeness. The photo of him playing during a game is (I think) somewhat small. Also, I hope people explain their changes rather than wordlessly reverting. Pablosecca (talk) 18:39, 28 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wrong

Article states he retired in 2006. He did not. He has yet to officially retire. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.149.137.70 (talk) 17:03, 15 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Correct: and he was described as a "retired" player in the entry on the last game at Yankee Stadium. I have made that "former" player and added his own comment about not officially retiring.KD Tries Again (talk) 17:03, 22 September 2008 (UTC)KD Tries AgainReply

Why was the link to his official website deleted? Junebug2006 (talk) 22:01, 16 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Bernie Williams birthplace

edit

Was Bernie Williams born in El Paso, Texas or San Juan, Puerto Rico? It's listed in the article as both. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Barney Hill (talkcontribs) 15:02, 7 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I feel like this needs to be cleared up. If he was born in San Juan, then why does it say they lived in the Bronx until he was a year old, and then moved to Puerto Rico? Was he born in Puerto Rico, moved to the Bronx, and then back to Puerto Rico, all within a year?! Or was he born in the United States, and then they moved to Puerto Rico? 1999–2004 section

This desperately needs expansion. These were his peak years, and he played in four World Series. Plenty of material to go around, such has his five-RBI game in the 1999 ALDS, game-winning homer in the 1999 ALCS, recording the last out of the 2000 World Series, etc.--Jprg1966 (talk) 05:43, 30 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
