Both this article and the Guardian obituary which it cites are in error as his father was not Mayor of Fulham. His maternal grandfather, James Littleboy, was from 1906-1907. His mother did act as lady mayoress but for her own father as the mayor's wife was too ill to undertake the duties involved.
