Dear Kapulakone, At your convenience, please would you kindly review the present draft article, which I have translated today from fi:Bergö? If you have the time, please make any improvements that you think are required or appropriate, especially in the translated prose and the provision of additional sources, if you can find some more. If you discover additional information about Bergö at websites or books, then please simply add a basic ref tag at the appropriate places in the prose and I will upgrade these to use {{cite}} templates later. However, if you're too busy at the moment, then please don't worry: it's only a draft in my own user space and I can certainly wait until you might be able to assist me with such a review. I think it's good, I could add https://hiski.genealogia.fi/seurakunnat/srk?CMD=SRK&ID=20&TYPE=HTML&LANG=FI as another citation after the line about the parish separations as an easier-to-access source. Also the "official_name" infobox section usually includes the full title, so Bergö kommun in Swedish and Bergön kunta in Finnish.
Most detailed information on Swedish-speaking municipalities is obviously in Swedish, so for me it is not as easy to find. -- Kapulakone (talk) 06:27, 5 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Dear Kapulakone, Thank you so much for your prompt reply and for making your improvements. Thank you also for the suggestion to update "official_name", which I will do later today. I have now taken a closer look at the External link to "Bergö, the gem of the Kvarken!", and I think I will promote it to a citation used in the body of the article, especially since it appears to be the Finnish version of the same as the one you found in Swedish at the Wayback machine. Once I have completed these remaining tasks later today, I will move the final draft over the Redirect, per WP:MOR. We can always apply more changes later on anyway.
