Bandwagon edit

The soap was sold from brightly painted street cars with musicians, which led to the phrase "get on the bandwagon". This is unreferenced, and a different explanation is given at bandwagon effect.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 05:06, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I added my source and will search for more, I would assume the phrase has something to do with Babbitt's friendship with P. T. Barnum, the circus owner, and the fact that Babbitt was one of biggest advertisers in the country at the time. Babbitt was a very innovative advertiser and his article should be expanded to reflect this. - Epousesquecido (talk) 14:14, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
