Wouldn't it be appropriate to mention AOC tweeting his poem when she learned that she was given 1 minute to speak at the 2020 Democratic Convention? edit

I only have a minute, sixty seconds in it, Forced upon me, I did not choose it But I know that I must use it Give account if I abuse it Suffer if I lose it Only a tiny little minute But Eternity is in it. WordwizardW (talk) 08:35, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sorry—I didn't quote it quite correctly (perhaps AOC's memory was faulty?), and AOC was not the first to quote it; the late US Representative Elijah Cummings recited it as well.

I have only just a minute,

Only sixty seconds in it.

Forced upon me, can’t refuse it.

Didn’t seek it, didn’t choose it.

But it’s up to me

to use it.

I must suffer if I lose it.

Give account if I abuse it.

Just a tiny little minute,

but eternity is in it.

Picture with Bob kennedy at the White House edit

On commons, the person on the right of Kennedy is identified as Roy Wilkins, not Benjamin Mays... Could somebody confirm ? Regards Cymbella (talk) 12:12, 13 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
