Relation to James Reynolds Gummow
editThe article notes:
- Benjamin Gummow is likely to be related to other architects and builders who were called Gummow and who were working in the Wrexham and Shrewsbury areas.[according to whom?] However, in most cases the exact relationship between them is uncertain.
and also
- Benjamin Gummow had a brother Michael Gummow (d. 1804) who was also an architect.
On the Welsh language Wikipedia for architect cy:James Reynolds Gummow (mentioned in a few articles on this wiki) it states that he is the son of Michael Gummow and is Benjamin Gummow's nephew. The source given is
- Hubbard, Edward (1986). The Buildings of Wales - Clwyd (Denbighshire and Flintshire). Penguin Books - University of Wales Press. tt. p. 67
I've not read the book myself, so can't confirm it, just thought I'd mention it here if others have access to it.--Rhyswynne (talk) 08:57, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
